Who's used them? Any good experiences with them? Any bad experiences?
I used Adecco last year when I was 7 months pregnant (and trying to hide it! ). I left my previous job and was desperate to find something before I was really really showing. The guy I met with was great and really professional. He only had one opening which was for a sales position which is what I totally did NOT want. A few weeks later he called back with my ideal job but I was 8 months pregnant then and knew I'd be leaving shortly to give birth.
This past week I went to Kelly Services. They were totally laid back and I was literally immediately hired to do a temporary data entry position. My resume only has sales and interior design experience on it but they didn't seem to care. I will be working for 10 days from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am :dead: Not ideal, but the $$ is good and it's quick money. Not too bad.

I've worked through Kelly Services (thats how I got my current job  ) and I've worked through a few local agencies. I love Kelly Services - they are very laid back and easy to work with (and I've already got my W-2)

When I first got out of college I had a heck of a time finding a job (accounting degree, but no desire to go the CPA route). After MANY resumes, I went to AccounTemps (not sure if it's nationwide). I took their goofy tests and scored 100% on them all  Apparently that doesn't happen much and it probably helped that I was just out of school  and they hired me for a job the next day. It was supposed to be a 4 day job and I got it done in one, then they sent me to another job as well. All within a couple days  I worked at that company for a week or so before they were like hey, you're over qualified for this (basic accounting, filing, etc) and we have this other position you should look into. So I did and I started doing that as a temp and then the temp co. called to get me to go on an interview and I basically told my company either hire me or I'll go to the interview. They hired me the next day :) I spent 6 1/2 years there and moved up to a management position before I got the heck out of there 4 years ago

I have used Millenium Staffing ( don't know if they are nationwide) and Robert Half International which I believe dba OfficeTeam. I loved Millenium Staffing but didn't really have much luck with the latter.

I worked for Kelly Services during the summers while I was in college. They were excellent. I had some pretty good jobs through them.

I worked for one called SES Staffing. (It may have been a local Maryland company.)
At the time, I wanted to get out of teaching, I knew that my husband's job would be relocating us, and I just wanted to see what it was like to work somewhere else. I only took one job, and it was only a week long- but still, it gave me a taste of "office life." It was a mindless job making photocopies, but they paid me $10 an hour, and it gave me a chance to see what jobs outside of the field of education were like.

I worked for a local temp agency (I forget the name of it) after I dropped out of high school. I actually did some pretty interesting jobs, including washing dishes in a cafeteria with a bunch of really nice ex-cons!

I worked for a scientific temp agency (Yoh Scientific) right out of college because I wasn't finding any good jobs in biotech and just wanted to get my foot in the door. It worked out great, because I got placed with a biotech company that eventually hired me full-time after about 3 months. (It was basically the only way they hired people.)
I think if/when I ever decide to change careers, a temp agency might be a good way to go to get a feel for other types of work environments.

I have worked for Elite Temps here in Florida. It's how I got my current job. I was just laid off and I needed money quick. I went back to them and told them I would take anything they had that paid decent. They called back that afternoon with this job. I started out at $8.50 and 7 years later I make quite a bit more!! I love temp agency's.
