DH and I are on totally different spectrums in regards to what's the best temp to keep the house at.

He'd love for it to be at around 65ish. I prefer it to be closer to 70-72. I think our thermostat now is set in between, at 68. But when he goes to work I turn it up.

What temp do you set yours at? Do you like it cooler and just wear warmer clothes? Or do you like it warm so you can wear whatever?

Depends on the weather and how much I want to pay for the gas to heat or electric to cool. In winter, 68 during the day and wear warmer clothes. In the summer, 72 during the day and wear cooler clothes. At night in the winter, 66 or lower and wear warm jammies and extra blankets and in the summer, 70 at night and wear cooler jammies and just a sheet.

Usually around 70, though John usually jacks it up when he gets home b/c he'd rather lay around in his boxers than bother to put more clothes on.

I hate being cold so I usually keep the heat at 72 during the day and turn it down to 68 at night.

We don't run it at night (we have space heaters in the boys' rooms) because it gets the rooms to hot.

During the day, it's usually set somewhere between 66-68 degrees. Our house is really open with lots of big windows and it gets too expensive to have it much higher than that.

67 during the day and 62 at night.
That's exactly what ours is. Last year we had it at 70 during the day and 65 at night and one month (February I think) our electric bill was nearly $400! Keeping it at 67/62 has kept is significantly lower!

Josh would love for it to be around 66 or so all the time- and when I was pregnant that was fine- but normally we keep it around 70

I can't stand to be cold so it stays around 74/75 when we're home in the evenings and overnight. During the day when no one is there I drop it to about 68.
