Anyone else not have custody?

I share joint legal custody of both our children.

Our daughter lives with me and my 14yr old son with his father. They both lived with him for a while after our divorce until my daughter moved in with me 3 years ago.

While there are times I think my son would be better off with me, I don't have a problem with him being with his dad. His father isn't a bad person, he's just not the right husband for me.

Anyone else have kids who don't live with them?

Yep, my step-son lives mostly with his mom. She only lives 15 minutes down the road though, and we get him every other weekend, or whenever we want, really, but for the most part, he lives with his mother.

My sons currently live with my, but in a year or two we will switch our custody arrangement and they will go to live with their dad, 3 hours away. :( I think they need to be with their dad at that time in their life and as they get older, but man, is it going to stink :(

My SS and SD live with their mom, and they are about 10 minutes away.... I am the one who goes and picks up and drops off as DH and his EX arent allowed near each other ( immaturity :rolleyes: )

I share legal custody with my ex but my DS lives with his father. He lives in WA and I'm in CA, it sucks monkey butt!
