Come on and introduce yourself :)
My name is Lisa and I have a 14 year old daughter Cassie(and a two year old,had to mention her:) ) Cassie's father and I split up when she was 3-4 months old, I was a single mom to her until I met Tony when she was 3. Just this past summer though her father passed away :bawl: it was the most horrible experience to see your child go through  but she is "handling" it well so far, it's been tough though.. anyway that's enough about us..

I'm Christine. I have a 16yr old named Valerie who lives with me and a 14yr old named Aaron who lives with his dad. Their father and I got divorced nearly 7 years ago. Initially both kids lived with him and in 2001 Val decided to move in with me after their father remarried (in 2000).

I knew there had to be others with bigger kids!! Hello to everyone!!!
I have a big 12 year old! Very big! His name is Tony and he's 6' tall and maybe 185 or so! But he's still a sweet boy, although he does have his moody moments! The funny thing is his best friend is the shortest kid in his grade! Anyway I left his (looser) dad and met DH when Tony was 4. We now have a 6 month old and Tony is doing pretty good with the baby now that he's getting a little more active and fun. It's really sweet watching them together!
Is it just here or is the whole "Nightmare Before Christmas" thing big with your kids too? Everywhere I go I see kids with Jack Skellington backpacks, t-shirts and all kinds of other stuff. My son and his friends are really into it! The really weird thing is that the movie came out in 1993!!!

Hi! I have two sons, a 12 year old and a 9 month old. I never married my older son's dad, and was a single parent for almost 10 years. He is great with his younger brother! he is still really sweet....just waiting for the teen years!

HI, I have a 15 yr DD, a 13 yr DS, and a 18 month DD. I am forever torn between the world of teens and babies! LOL. DH stays home with the kids, and the older ones are driving him crazy. Yep, they are typical teens, with the laziness and mouthiness, however, they are good kids deep down. And they don't do HALF of the stuff DH and I did when we were their age.

Geez...I didn't check in here??
My name is Melissa and I have a 9 year old son and a 15-soon-to-be-16 year old daughter...I also have a 2 year old son
My kids are fabulous. William and Jacob have a tendency to grate on each other's nerves, but we are handling that with care. Jennifer has recently gotten her very first boyfriend so we are having alot of fun with that...what else can I say...they are just so much fun and have so much energy and they are so INTERESTING to talk to...I just love them

Hi There,
I have a 14 year old daughter and a 12 year old son (he'll be 13 in Nov.).
My kids are rather enjoyable. We've had the moodiness and the laziness but other than that, they are doing well in school, are polite (outside of the house!) and will actually sometimes listen to what I say. :complain:
I guess I'm lucky. One of my friends just found out that her 13 year old (!) daughter has been sexually active for at least six months now and without protection. :disbelief
I can't even imagine. I sat both of my kids down and had a long talk with them. They didn't like it because it's embarrassing :blush1: but I needed to make sure that they understood the ramifications. Sometimes I get so scared for them.

Hi Susannah. Wow, that is scary! My husband and i just watched a show called middle school confessions (or something like that) and it was sad. Kids drinking, smoking and having sex. Our son sounds like your kids. He is nice, funny and good fun to be around!
