I've always wanted to make a business for myself teaching people how to manage their own finances. I think every senior in high school should have to take a class on things like how to open and manage a checking account, the ins and outs of owning a credit card, buying v. leasing a car, etc. I'd also like to teach a class to women on similar topics, maybe expanding it to include simple investment basics, how to reduce debt, save money, etc.

As for what class I'd like to take, I'd love to take some DIY/ Home improvement classes, I think! I barely know how to shut off the water in our house. I really should know the basics, at least.

I would love to take a class in web design, too.

Also on my list :) :

Advanced French
Adobe PhotoShop
Dutch

The local community college offers those three (and web design) as well as lots of other fascinating stuff that I've considered on and off. I decided that starting this fall, I'm going to take a class every semester to learn about all the things I wish I knew more.

I think the only classes I'd be qualified to teach are Grammar/Punctuation for Sticklers, How to Find Almost Anything on the Internet, and Bargain Hunting for Compulsive Shoppers.

There is a private university here and there are all sorts of costuming classes that I really want to take. Construction, history of clothing, etc, etc.
I honestly did take a lot of classes that I wanted to while I was in college. I paid for my own schooling and felt that I should enjoy it while I had to suffer through classes that I didn't enjoy. Definitely worthwhile!!!!

If I were to teach- I'd love to teach art/architectural history. IT is a true passion of mine. I'd also love to teach sewing, which I have been asked to do before, but at the time I didn't have any childcare help.

I would love to take some cooking and baking classes, more German and some writing classes. I've always thought when I retire, or when the kids are off at college and I need more things to do, I would teach literacy classes for adults. It is amazing to me that people can function and be illiterate and so sad as well. I would love to teach someone how to read, it is one thing that can change someone's life tremendously.

Ok. You're all going to think I'm a geek, but I would really enjoy taking some Latin classes. I took Latin in high school and really enjoyed it. It's an amazing language and I learned so much English from studying Latin. I love learning about the ancient culture, too.

I would also love to take some Bible classes. Some serious in-depth study stuff.

To teach? That's hard. I'm not a natural teacher. I think it would have to be something Bible-related. Perhaps a class for new believers teaching the basics of the Bible and why the Bible says what it does.

Theresa ~ I took Latin in high school too!! Not many people do. :)

I'd like to take some kind of cooking class, or maybe a cake decorating class. Something like that would be a lot of fun.
