Does anyone else have problems w/ the comforter getting all wonky inside the duvet cover? Is there some kind of secret to get it to stay put? There has to be a better way!

Staples? Double-sided tape? Those are what I'm considering! I think it also has to do with whether you're a wild sleeper or not - DH is a toss-and-turner, and that's what makes our comforter go all lumpy and stupid in the duvet cover.

You can do a few different things. You can buy little clips that you use inside the cover, and clip the comforter to the inside corners. This works well for many people, and really depends on the clips you use.

Anorther way is to sew a riibon onto each corner of the comforter, and another ribbon onto the inside at the corners. Then just tie each corner of the comforter to the corresponding corner of the cover. Works like a charm. you can even add more ribbons, like one in the middle of each side, for even more control.

I like the ribbon idea. Even with my clips (and now I sometimes use 2 sets), my comforter still moves around and gets clumpy.

Hmmmmm. I like the ribbon idea. I didn't even know there were clips! I knew you ladies would be able to help!

Love that ribbon idea! I have to do that! I love my duvet, but can't stand that it gets so lumpy on the bottom.

My duvet cover actually came with ribbons in the corners, so we just took a pinch of the duvet itself and tied it with the ribbons. It works great! (FYI, if you're shopping for a new one, all Ralph Lauren duvet covers come with the ribbons in the corners. )

I just periodically rotate the duvet around so that it can slide from one end to the other...works well for us!

I have a duvet cover but mine never really moves inside...I will keep the ribbon idea in the back of my head just incase mine decides to start moving.
