I had my IUI last Thursday. They triggered me with some sort of lupron injection on Wednesday. Well I started bleeding on Tuesday and I wasn't concerned but now it's three days and it seems like it really is AF. They told me it wasn't the same sort of lupron they use for endometriosis or IVF but that seems to be the only difference that would make AF come so fast. The weird thing is that I am hyperstimulated and my bbs are still tender and usually by the time I get AF that is all gone. I have spoken with the RE and they have no idea what it is but said it's too early for AF. Any ideas?

For future reference in case anyone has this happen to them the Dr that answers questions over at inciid.org gave me these possible scenarios and none are good:

If your E2 level was not high enough, or was disproportionate to the number of mature follicles you had on the day of trigger, you may not have ovulated mature eggs. If that happened, you would bleed earlier than expected.

Also, if you "needed" progesterone support and weren't on it at the "right time", then your cycle may collapse and early bleeding can occur.

If your peak progesterone wasn't high enough, even if you were on progesterone support, the amount of progesterone support may not have been high enough to maintain the uterine lining, and early bleeding could occur.

I hope this helps shed some light on the possibilities for you. Of course, I can't diagnose your condition from afar, but have tried to give you some possible scenarios for early bleeding nonetheless.
