I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but it didn't seem to fit anywhere else. Feel free to move it if you need to.
Quite a few of us have family or personal websites that we use to post pictures and other stuff. I thought it would be fun to post our links so we can check them all out (and steal ideas for our own sites :) ). Ours is www.gabl.org/joefrances

The same goes for our site. We just throw pictures up there for family.

Where are you all getting your sites from? I'm looking for one for the girls but I don't want to spend much for it.

Mine is from angelfire.com. So far it's ok--it goes down from time to time, but hey, it's free. :)

mandi - your ISP most likely gives you free webspace! that's what mine is. you have cable right? go to their website and poke around, i'd be willing to bet you get some free space.

Mandi, mine is through Geocities (i.e., pretty easy, not requiring huge mounds of technical knowledge! :aok: ) and is totally free - you can upgrade and pay a little money for more and fancier stuff, but for the basics is totally free.

Mandi -ours is thru geocities as well (though that was who our DSL provider gave us). I know that some people use babiesonline.com and that is free, too.

Mandi,
It looks like you are using comcast as your high speed internet provider. Comcast does offer personal websites. goto www.comcast.net (http://www.comcast.net) on the left side of the page click the little arrow next to personal web pages. you may have to enter your comcast username and password to get in, but from there comcast will provide to you all the help you need to setup a quick website.

Ours is www.sturgfam.com (http://www.sturgfam.com), but there's nothing there right now except info on the wedding business I've begun. DH is the computer guy around here and we (he) just hasn't had time for it lately. If you do go visit, note that he's a terrible speller who ought to know by now that he needs to let me proofread EVERYTHING he writes- yet he doesn't. But he's awesome that he does put it all together for me.
