OK, so I think i need to chart my cycles to figure things out and then TTC. I have never done this before so was hoping someone here could help. Where do I start? Do I need to use OPK (what is an OPK? ) ? AF has been weird lately. It starts off with spotting sometimes for 2 days and then finally starts. I am guessing the day it actually starts would be CD1? AF has also been coming before her expected time, I expected it on the 11th and it started yesterday, spotting started on the 6th. :dunno:

I'd start by reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility (here's a link to the book on Amazon). (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0060937645/qid=1102606338/sr=2-1/ref=pd_ka_b_2_1/102-4572115-7587306)It really explains what signs to look for, how to chart, etc.

And OPK is an ovulation predictor kit. You don't have to use them unless you want to pinpoint ovulation. You will be able to tell if and when you ovulate by your chart.

Thanks Brooke, I will check out that book. I looked on Fertilityfriend.com (since I see it around here all the time) and it gave me some insight so that is helpful too.

Definitely do your charting on FF because it makes it so easy.

Yes, I'd count the first day of red as CD1.
