What do you think?

UPDATE (http://www.onceuponalife.com/forums/showthread.php?p=345235#post345235):

Well, after much discussion, we have decided to have the auctions on eBay and keep a list here. The main reason for doing it this way is that there is a far greater potential for traffic on eBay, which brings with it the possibility of raising more money for this cause.

Our preference is to list the items for you so that we can have everything for the auction sold under our OnceUponaLife eBay username. This is for 2 main reasons:
1) So that if some non-OUAL person happens upon something being auctioned for this charity and wants to look at other things being auctioned for the charity, they can.
2) We plan to make the eBay and PayPal fees associated with the auctions OUAL's contributions to the charity (above & beyond our personal contributions). Having them all listed together will makes it easier to disregard the fees from the total.

sooo.... how does that strike you?

I would vote none of the above and here's why - eBay will take so much of the fees... have you checked out WAHMChicks.com? They are free or very low price (I haven't been there in a few weeks and there's a new owner but I think Holly planned on keeping it free) and then the charity can get as much as possible.

I would vote here - I would hate for eBay to get money if fees that could go to charity.

Jennie-- I did look at WAHMChicks. It looks really cool, but the main reason we were thinking about eBay is the traffic.

Let me make sure I have this straight. You're going to list all the donated items under the OUAL username, then will you contact us as to who to send the items to? What about shipping costs?

As long as the shipping costs are included in the final price, we can send either the actual or the estimated shipping costs to the actual seller (through PayPal). Of course, if the seller wanted to donate that cost as well, that would be ok with us, too.

I'll donate the cost of shipping for my item. Just let me know where to send it, etc.

How did I miss this? Where can we donate items?
