I am starting to chart & temp this month, but am not sure which day to call CD1. I started spotting on Thursday, 9/30. But then nothing all weekend, and then AF seemed to really appear on Monday, 10/4. But then by night it was light, stayed light all day and most of last night. It’s sort of back now, still not in full force.

What would you do? (BTW, I had my IUD in until today so it’s unlikely I’m PG, and the OB office this morning didn’t detect anything that would make it appear that I’m PG now.)

Yikes! Alyssa! I don't even know if I would bother charting this month. Your cycle will probably be so screwed up from the IUD that you wouldn't get any good idea of what a normal cycle for you will be.

I'd go with 10/4. The 9/30 was probably just break through bleeding.

Not sure why you say that - have you read/heard anything? I've not read much about post-IUD cycles but the little I did read and what my OBs office says is that I've got just as much chance to get PG right away and that my cycle should be as normal this month as any. :dunno: PLEASE do let me know if you have read/heard anything contrary to that. I'd be very interested. :nod:

I agree with Nocona I would say that 10/4 would be CD1.
