The University of Nebraska has an excellent distance learning program.

You apply to the University like a regular undergrad, but then you can take all your courses through the distance learning program.

I think a lot of "regular" colleges have them now. He might try just finding schools that have programs he's interested in and then seeing if they have them available on-line.

I am working on my master's through Capella University. I've been at it for a year and a half, and it's a wonderful program! It's just what I needed to be able to complete my degree with a baby! :)

I did a report on online universities when I was in college. He might want to check out LaSalle or Magellan. I believe both schools are completely online. Or they were when I did my report four years ago anyway.

I worked on porting regular classes to online classes while I was at Georgia Tech. I would definitely check with the mainstream schools to see if they offer the degree he is interested through online classes.
