Decorating anyone???

I love decorating and redecorating and decorating again (drives my DH crazy)

My newest project is turning DD Nancy's old room into a playroom for Char :) We start tomorrow..

I am having the ceiling painted white (I can't climb on a ladder :( ) and I am going to do the walls white, put up a chair rail and have red, green, blue and yellow stripes below the chair rail..The trim I am thinking red and blue?? not sure..and on the ceiling I am going to do some squares of all four colors..I also want to find a throw rug with the same colors to put over the blue carpet..

What do you think??? I still haven't decided what to do with the windows yet..any suggestions??

It sounds really great, but clearly you enjoy painting a lot more than I do. :lol: I'm trying to figure out what to do with some windows myself, but for a primary-colored playroom the first thing that comes to mind is some sort of fun valance with toys or alphabet letters or crayons or something hanging down.

I had thought of the crayons...I wonder if I could make some, maybe dust off my sewing machine and learn how to use it :)
