cloth is going great

Just wanted to say HI and tell everyone that our cloth diapering is going great. We have been doing laundry every day and it's going well. We have 6 kissaluv contours, 3 Wonderoos, and 7 Fuzzi Bunz that we are rotating. I like them all, but I think I like the Kissaluvs the best because they are slightly smaller and don't cover up her belly button.

We've had no leaks yet! WOOO! I think dh is liking that. He hasn't changed one yet though, so I need to teach him how. He changed Carter's Fuzzi Bunz diaper today, so we'll see if he can get it on the wiggly baby who doesn't like to straighten her legs.

You know, with Shaylee we've had a leak with almost every disposable we've used in the hospital but nothing with cloth. With Ethan we had so much laundry because everything was either soaked or pooped through using disposables (the first time we went to church, I changed his clothes 5 times in 3 hours :eek: ), but Shaylee stays nice and clean :) . I love it!!

Thanks Carla and Cortney. Well, we had leaks the last two nights. Hmmm.... You know it's because I said something about it. One I think was because I didn't get the elastic in the cover over the contoured diaper inside. Last night, I think it leaked out the leg of the Fuzzi Bunz. It looks like I am making them so tight, but maybe I need to make them tighter. Not sure yet what to do. Maybe I could just put a doubler in them at night. She hasn't leaked during the day though, even when she goes for just as long. Oh well, we'll figure it out.

nak.. yes sometimes it takes a bit to work the kinks out. I don't have any experience with those dipes, so i'm not sure.

That's great Brandi! We're doing awesome with our dipes too and I'm doing laundry about every other day! I've been on a buying spree lately and got a ton of stuff coming soon.

I'm starting to realize that although I like the Kissaluvs, they don't hold as much as the fuzzi bunz. So, I'm really liking the fb's the best! They are great! They are so expensive though and I'm scared to order some used ones off of ebay. I like getting them from the girls here - just feel so much better about it. I have 7 of them, so I can't use them exclusively unless I do laundry all the time!

If you want Brandi, I just got a huge lot of small FB from a client and I finally got my gently used section back online. Mostly smalls at this point but I have a few mediums too.
